The following lifestyle recommendations should be started first before any medication changes are made. I will guide you in the office to safely lessen medication needs unless I have personally advised you otherwise. 

Please remember that your degree of commitment will give benefits at any level of involvement. It's not all or nothing. Start with the steps you're most comfortable with and continue from there. The bigger the commitment, the bigger the rewards! 

Lastly, these lifestyle problems affect many of us. There are not any recommendations in these pages that are not beneficial for anyone of us. If possible, try to do this together with other members of your household. There will be fewer disagreements about "what to eat" and you will be impacting their health for the better!
